Five schools offer advice on the implementation of programmes to engage with the community and outside agencies in tackling disadvantage. They offer detailed accounts of their implementation strategies, challenges faced, success gained and means of ensuring sustainability.

  • Bedwas High School (11-18) has 818 on roll with 21% FSM

  • Betws Primary has 221 on roll with 49% FSM

  • Goetre Infant School has 145 on roll with 65% FSM

  • Maesteg Comprehensive (11-18) has 1136 on roll with 23% FSM

  • Mountain Ash Comprehensive (11-18) has 1017 on roll with 35% FSM
