Parent booklet gives details of the Incredible Years Basic Parent Programme being offered in the three schools to parents of its pupils.
The three special schools are for pupils with severe, complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties.
Pen-y-Cwm School, Blaenau-Gwent (102 on role)
Maes Ebbw School, Newport (110 on role)
Ty Gwyn School, Cardiff (110 on role).
Parents of our pupils often ask the school for advice and help in managing the behaviour of their children. The programme offers a series of sessions based on strengthening parenting competencies, fostering parents’ involvement in children’s school experiences in order to promote children’s academic, social and emotional competencies and reduce behaviour problems.
